Kansas City We know that walking beside one another and learning from communities is the best way to understand redemption. We are partnering with The HUB Argentine. The Hub’s mission is to connect our neighbors to their individual gifts, fellow neighbors, faith and culture, vital resources for health and wholeness, stories, and joy. We live that out through our 6 programs [free grocery store, storytelling program, after-school program, community garden, shower, and clothing closet] and by developing deep relationships with our neighbors in the Argentine community. This is accomplished through relationally and educationally focused activities. Lodging will be at Central UMC in Kansas City, KS. We will sleep on cots and have a shower trailer for showers. Meals are provided.
The trip begins on Monday and wraps on Friday. Registration is first-come, first-served, so be sure to sign up early to reserve space and have a greater chance of being assigned the week you want!
