Sara Chavez is a passionate educator and mentor dedicated to serving others through both ministry and education. After her first summer with Cross Connections, she felt called to move to North Carolina, where she now attends Appalachian State University. She is pursuing a degree in Music Choral Education with a minor in Sports Management and Coaching.

This summer marks her third year in ministry and her second with Cross Connections—an organization that has had a profound impact on her life. Through two mission trips to Honduras, she has witnessed firsthand the meaningful and lasting work they do.

Sara is excited to step into the role of Lead for one of the Access Camps this summer. She feels incredibly blessed to be part of this mission and looks forward to the journey ahead.
