Sara Chavez is a passionate educator and mentor dedicated to serving others through ministry and education. At 20 years old, she is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Childhood Education and Development in Texas, with plans to further her studies by obtaining a master’s degree in Childhood Education.

Currently, Sara works as a full-time teacher and also serves as a club volleyball coach for an 11U nationals team. This summer marks her second year in ministry and her first with Cross Connections, an organization that has had a profound impact on her life. Having traveled to Honduras twice with Cross Connections, she has witnessed firsthand the incredible work they do.

Sara is thrilled to step into the role of Camp Coordinator for one of the Access Camps this summer. She feels truly blessed to be part of this mission and is excited for the journey ahead!
